The Climate Protection and Energy Agency of Lower Saxony (KEAN) is an institution of the state of Lower Saxony and has the task of further promoting climate protection and the energy transition in Lower Saxony. For the department “Climate Protection in Companies” we are looking for the next possible date
A team of experts who are competent and passionate about developing solutions in the areas of climate protection, energy efficiency, energy saving and renewable energies.
A driving force and network for all relevant stakeholders in Lower Saxony from local authorities, companies, associations, agencies, politics and social groups.

• Your responsibilities The “Climate Protection in Companies” department provides information and advice on energy efficiency, the use of renewable energies, the heating transition and the funding landscape to a network consisting of business development agencies, regional energy agencies, chambers, associations and energy consultants. The Lower Saxony Alliance for Sustainability, as part of the department, acts as a further multiplier. The management of the “Climate Protection in Companies” department has the following tasks in particular:
• Strategic and operational management of the department
• Expansion and support of state-wide stakeholder networks and strategic partnerships, networking of initiatives for the development and implementation of state-wide measures to promote sustainable corporate management
• Conception and further development of consulting and information services in the field of heat supply, in particular renewable process heat, and energy saving in the course of the transformation to a climate-neutral economy

• A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of economics or engineering
• Many years of relevant professional experience
• In-depth specialist knowledge in the fields of operational climate protection or energy management
• Conceptual and analytical skills, ability to work scientifically
• Commitment and sense of responsibility
• Good communication and moderation skills, strong teamwork and diplomatic skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
