Head of department (m/f/d) Meter and device installation electricity

Your tasks

  • You will manage and develop your employees in line with changing market and company requirements.
  • You will be responsible for the proper installation and operation of electricity meters in compliance with technical regulations and rules and from an economic point of view.
  • You will help develop our technological strategy in the field of electricity metering with a view to our corporate strategy and business objectives and develop the area of responsibility from conventional metering technology to intelligent metering point operation.
  • You will be responsible for the electricity metering systems and the associated remote data transmission equipment in Mainova AG’s supply area and in competitive metering point operation. You will help develop new innovative solutions in the field of smart metering, smart grid and smart building.
  • You will drive forward the implementation of new meter and device technologies, particularly in the area of the smart meter rollout of intelligent metering systems and modern metering equipment.
  • You will plan personnel and resource requirements on the basis of extrapolated cost drivers and the deployment of employees to ensure efficient process execution.

Your qualifications

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
  • High communication and conflict resolution skills as well as assertiveness and a structured and analytical working style
  • Very good technological understanding and passion for digital products and “smart” technologies
  • Open-minded personality with strong technical and social skills and relevant experience in employee management and change management
  • Proven knowledge and experience in project management or strong management expertise and experience with innovative collaboration solutions
  • Strong IT skills, very good MS Office skills and business fluent in written and spoken German
