Head of Department (m/f/d) Techno-Economic Engineering of Battery Storage Systems
Your tasks
- Take overall responsibility for the areas of technology, data analysis and battery marketing and thus support the project development and implementation of our large-scale battery storage projects
- Actively develop processes, quality standards and structures for project workflows (here for large-scale storage batteries in an international environment)
- Operationally support your teams in the various topics related to the implementation of battery storage projects
- See the potential in employees and can coordinate new hires as well as the further development of people
- Are happy to act as a sparring partner for technical decisions
- Feel responsible for coordinating the agreement and adherence to goals of individuals and teams with overarching divisional goals
- Enjoy taking responsibility for the proper handling of complex technical, regulatory and business issues
- Appreciates the interdisciplinary professional exchange between departments and countries
- Love strategic board games and think about optimization potentials
- Enjoy designing new forms of company organization
Your qualifications
- Have a high level of technical expertise through training and/or studies and several years of professional experience in planning, project management and realization of complex, large-scale plant construction projects with a high degree of variability
- Are very familiar with the requirements for the techno-economic layout and system design of battery storage systems
- Have a willingness to find solutions and make decisions while supporting decision-making processes at the operational level
- Can demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in self-management of larger teams and the implementation of new leadership concepts
- Are a strong communicator with a strong sense of initiative, a high level of goal orientation and an entrepreneurial mindset as well as the ability to reflect
- Have a talent for coordinating people and can listen very well
- Work in a structured, independent, service-oriented manner and with an eye for detail
- Speak fluent German and have a very good command of English
