Energy agency of the state.
KEA Klimaschutz- und Energieagentur Baden-Württemberg GmbH is the state’s energy agency. KEA-BW’s task is to actively participate in climate protection measures in Baden-Württemberg: it supports the state government in promoting the topics of energy saving, rational energy use and the use of renewable energies. KEA-BW also focuses on sustainable mobility and water management tasks.

Your tasks
- Personnel and financial responsibility for the Energy Management division with currently seven employees
- Collaboration in the strategic development of KEA-BW
- Further development of content and target group-oriented preparation of the topics of energy management and consumption data recording and evaluation
- Strategic and operational support for the Ministry of the Environment in all matters relating to energy-efficient building operation and the implementation of legal requirements
- Initial advice for local authorities and provision of knowledge
- Dissemination and further development of the Kom.EMS Classic process tool for municipal energy management
- Cooperation with other state energy agencies in the aforementioned areas
- Intensive networking and committee work with stakeholders at state, federal and, where appropriate, international level
- Acquisition and management of market projects
Your qualifications
- Scientific university degree, Dipl.-Ing./M. Sc. energy and/or environmental engineering, supply engineering, energy management or comparable qualification
- Practical experience in advising local authorities on energy issues
- Good knowledge in the areas of technical building equipment, energy audits and operational optimization
- Leadership experience and experience in project management
- Knowledge of strategy and policy consulting
- Communication skills, persuasiveness and language skills
- Structured, planned and efficient way of working with a simultaneous openness to pragmatic solutions
- Contacts to municipal institutions in Baden-Württemberg are an advantage
- Clear attitude and motivation for climate protection and sustainable development
