Head of Sales Department (f/m/d)
Your tasks
- As Head of Sales at Stadtwerke Solingen, you and your team will ensure that our private, business and individual customers are optimally supplied with energy, heating solutions and energy services. You will acquire new customers, develop new offers, open up new business areas and keep our sales processes on track for success. You shape our sales in such a way that we as Stadtwerke Solingen remain close to our customers and their energy supply remains reliable, economical and sustainable.
- Business area development & market strategy: Strategic further development of B2B and B2C sales for commodity and EDL solutions, development of new business areas – especially in the area of heating solutions and district heating, participation in the conception of future-oriented energy supply concepts and
- Operational sales management & implementation: Responsibility for the operational implementation of the sales strategy, support in the further development of the strategy, products and product portfolio, continuous optimization of processes and sales channels, development and monitoring of KPIs for the development and implementation of the sales strategy
- Employee management & control of the department: Disciplinary management and further development of the team, preparation of the business plan for the department
- Customer support & sales: Continuous support and further development of existing customers as well as development of sales concepts for new customer acquisition (B2C & B2B) via all sales channels including direct sales, participation in customer visits (on site) as well as industry events and trade fairs,
Your qualifications
- Degree: Successfully completed studies (Master’s degree) in the field of business administration, economics or industrial engineering, ideally with a focus on the energy industry or a comparable qualification
- Professional and management experience: Sound experience in the energy industry or in energy sales at an energy supplier or municipal utility, including experience in new customer acquisition (personal, digital, Door2Door) as well as management experience in an operational sales unit
- Specialist knowledge: Very good knowledge of energy industry, business and regulatory framework conditions in EDL sales
- Personal skills: Strategic thinking, high customer orientation, social skills, a competent and self-confident appearance and strong communication skills
