
Head of Tenant Electricity Division (m/f/d)

Operational management of the tenant electricity division with team leadership, economic management and development prospects
You will be responsible for the entire tenant electricity division plus charging infrastructure. You will work closely with the Management Board and have the development perspective of a full-time Management Board role. You will be responsible for the commercial and operational management of the business division. You will accompany projects from the initial idea through to stable operation and ensure that they function technically and are economically viable. You will also lead a small operational team consisting of project management, solar planning and technical implementation. The focus of the role is clearly on implementation, operation and responsibility for results.
Management & further development of the business unit
- Economic management of the business unit (currently: tenant electricity & charging infrastructure)
- Expansion & strategic development of the business division (ongoing market analysis, further development of the business division on the basis of new regulations, new business models such as shared building supply, further development of sector coupling (power to heat, charging infrastructure)
- Further development of business planning including reporting to the Executive Board and committees
- Evaluation and prioritization of projects according to economic viability and feasibility
- Management of the project pipeline (capacities, sequence, speed of implementation)
- Optimization of structured electricity purchasing (e.g. tranche models)
- Managing the cooperation of partners and suppliers (e.g. metering point operators, subcontractors, electrical companies)
Project development & operation
- Identification and evaluation of suitable buildings and neighborhoods
- Development and calculation of tenant electricity projects (PV, storage, charging infrastructure)
- Negotiating with owners, property managers and partners
- Managing the technical implementation and ensuring stable operation
- Further development of existing projects during ongoing operations
Team & collaboration
- Management and further development of the tenant electricity team
- Cooperative leadership and open communication in line with the cooperative concept without neglecting operational discipline
- Building expertise within the team: building technical and regulatory know-how, identifying training needs (e.g. new EEG regulations, digitalization and AI)
- Interface coordination & conflict management for internal and external interfaces between technology and administration
What you bring with you
- Completed studies in the field of renewable energies, engineering, energy technology, industrial engineering, electrical engineering or comparable
- Several years of experience in the energy industry with reference to tenant electricity, photovoltaics and project development
- Management experience in a technical project-oriented environment
- Good understanding of economic interrelationships and technical systems (PV, metering concepts, grid connection, billing systems, market communication)
- sound knowledge of regulatory requirements (e.g. EEG, EnWG, tenant electricity surcharge, MsbG, metering concepts, market communication)
- You are a doer and get things done
- You can work operationally and think economically at the same time
- You deal with complexity in a structured way
- You enjoy working at the interface between technology, business and organization
- You take responsibility and develop structures further
