Your tasks
You will carry out the operational purchasing processes (demand/market analysis, information requests, tenders, negotiations, contract design as well as supplier and contract implementation in close coordination with the relevant stakeholders) You will expand and develop specific product group expertise in cooperation with technical experts and relevant stakeholders of the E.ON Group You are also the contact person and constructive sparring partner for the respective specialist departments and for the relevant suppliers You collect requirements and record the requirements of the various stakeholders, including tender planning Managing the supplier market for the above-mentioned projects with a view to opening up new and competitive procurement sources is also part of your job You will contribute to the achievement of growth, value creation and savings targets for the projects of the Group investment program for the integration of renewable energies, transport and heat transition
Your qualifications
You have a degree in engineering, e.g. civil engineering, electrical engineering, energy technology, mechanical engineering, process or supply engineering or industrial engineering (master's degree or equivalent) or a comparable acquired qualification Ideally, you have relevant experience in operational and strategic purchasing in plant engineering and experience in implementing international product group strategies You are proactive, pragmatic and enjoy successfully implementing digital and sustainable challenges in classic construction, electrical and process engineering product groups You are confident in using MS Office programs, SAP and reporting tools and also have knowledge of e-tools for purchasing in the areas of SRM, eSourcing and eAuctions You set yourself the standard of delivering above-average performance and are not satisfied with mediocrity You derive concrete goals for your own area of responsibility from overarching strategies You are characterized by a structured and thoughtful way of working You exemplify occupational safety and actively promote teamwork You have business fluent English skills. Willingness to travel throughout Europe
