IT Engineer as Enterprise Architect (m/f/d)

• As an IT architect, you will help shape the future system landscape of Westenergie & Westnetz and play a key role in digitalization.
• You analyze the system landscapes and support the creation of strategic roadmaps.
• You will draw up guidelines and specifications for the IT architecture and develop these further together with our architects.
• You analyze and evaluate planned requirements and projects, taking into account the target architecture of Westenergie & Westnetz.
• You accompany the projects in the area of “Processes and IT” with a focus on the implementation of the IT target architecture.
• You support the further development of the process and system landscape in line with the changed business models and requirements resulting from digitalization.
• You will actively participate in internal and Group-wide architecture committees.

• You have successfully completed a technical master’s degree, preferably in computer science, electrical engineering/information technology, industrial engineering or energy technology.
• You have several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture Management (EAM), taking into account proven best practices (e.g. TOGAF, ArchiMate).
• You have knowledge of the IT applications of a distribution network operator, e.g. for asset management, network operation, metering and/or commercial areas (CRM, billing, market communication).
• You recognize stressful situations of others and offer support.
• You recognize the essentials and master complex interrelationships.
• You actively intervene in the (team) process in the event of disagreements and pursue a solution that is acceptable to everyone.
• You are able to defend your own ideas in the face of resistance.
• You show an interest in shaping your own scope for action.
