IT System Administrator (m/f/d) Backend
Your tasks
- Ensuring the smooth operation of the Microsoft infrastructure (onPremise and Azure), the virtualization infrastructure under VMware, the server and network infrastructure under Dell, the firewall under Fortinet and the backup services (Veritas Backup Exec)
- Implementation of requirements in accordance with BSI IT-Grundschutz
- Maintenance, adaptation and updating of system documentation
- Further development of automation solutions
- Processing of faults in 3rd level support
- The position is full-time and initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- Completed training as an IT specialist in system integration, a university degree in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas
- Very good knowledge in the administration of infrastructure environments and their services (AD, DNS, DHCP etc.)
- Experience in scripting (PowerShell)
- Knowledge of operation and administration in the Azure and EntraID environment
- Experience with related technologies (VMware vSphere, MS SQL, Exchange, backup and storage solutions, server hardware) and common network and encryption protocols
- Knowledge of Exchange and email security
- High sense of quality and responsibility as well as independent and autonomous action
- Very good written and spoken German
- Strong communication skills and team spirit round off your profile
