- Studies/training:
- You have successfully completed a degree in business administration, renewable energies or as an industrial engineer, or similar; alternatively, you have relevant commercial vocational training with appropriate additional qualifications in the above-mentioned specialist areas.
- Professional experience:
- You have already gained experience in the energy industry.
- Ideally, you have a good understanding of the European gas and energy markets such as TTF, THE, LNG or the storage industry.
- PersonalSkills:
- You work independently, solution-oriented and are characterized by a strong mathematical understanding.
- Thanks to your very good knowledge of Excel - preferably supplemented by experience with Power BI - you can also keep an eye on complex data.
- You speak German at native speaker level and are business fluent in English.

- Responsibilities and tasks:
- You will develop and define our processes and standards for the Danpower Group's natural gas and biomethane portfolio.
- You place our biomethane strategically and profitably on the market.
- You will also be involved in the certification of our biomethane producers and combined heat and power plants in accordance with legal requirements, such as the Biomass Electricity Sustainability Ordinance.
- You will take care of the procurement of CO2 certificates.
- You ensure the documentation of biogas quantities in the Dena biogas register.
- You create forecasts and balances for the entire portfolio using mathematical models and internal coordination with our biogas upgrading plants.
- You procure natural gas and biomethane quantities using standard trading products.
- You check the load profile data and, if necessary, take care of the correction and coordination with our service provider for balancing group management.
- You carry out continuous portfolio evaluation based on the current market situation.
- Driving force:
- The optimization of heat generation plants and the economic design of heat generation are also part of your tasks.
- Customer network:
- You will also be responsible for contract processing with internal consumers as well as generators and, if necessary, for trading with external suppliers.
