Junior Project Manager (m/f/d) in the Renewable Energy Sector
Since its founding in 2001, AWIGO has evolved from a partner in waste management to an environmental service provider for the Osnabrück region. Specifically, this means that we are specialists in the areas of recyclable materials, recycling, resource recovery, and sustainability. However, our areas of responsibility continue to grow, and so do our ambitions. To meet these challenges, we are always looking for new colleagues to join our team of 400 and work with us to tackle important environmental issues and develop solutions.
We are part of Germany’s critical infrastructure.
Your responsibilities
- Independent development, planning, and implementation of projects in the field of renewable energy—from the initial concept through to completion
- Actively driving ongoing projects forward while ensuring deadlines, budgets, and project progress
- Preparation and management of time and budget schedules, as well as oversight of permitting and bidding processes
- Coordination and collaboration with internal departments, external partners, specialist planners, and other stakeholders
- Identifying project opportunities and independently developing and evaluating new approaches, including economic analysis
- Organizing and managing project structures, including collaboration with project companies and support in committee and contract management
Your qualifications
- Degree in energy, engineering, environmental studies, or a related field
- Initial experience in project management is desirable, ideally in the energy sector
- A strong “can-do” attitude with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
- High level of initiative and the ability to work independently and responsibly
- Willingness to make decisions and take responsibility for results
- A proactive approach to work with a commitment to actively driving and developing initiatives
- Strong communication skills and the ability to assert oneself when dealing with various stakeholders
