KRITIS Building Services Engineer (m/f/d)
RheinNetz GmbH is a regional grid operating company for the Rhineland region. RheinNetz operates, plans and builds distribution grids for electricity and natural gas. On behalf of energy suppliers, we transport electricity and natural gas to the industrial, commercial and household customers connected to the grids. Our company performs functions such as technical grid service, customer service, metering, revenue and cost management, regulation management and grid access, grid planning and asset management.

- As a KRITIS building technology engineer (m/f/d), you will ensure the technical operational readiness and functionality of all technical building systems (TGA) in KRITIS-relevant control center buildings
- You will plan, coordinate and manage maintenance, modernization and expansion measures for building technology
- You play an active role in new construction and conversion projects and ensure the implementation of technical KRITIS requirements such as redundancy, reliability, emergency power supply and fire protection
- You will ensure compliance with information security, occupational health and safety, fire and environmental protection regulations within your area of responsibility
- Your tasks also include creating and updating technical documentation, operating instructions and maintenance plans for critical infrastructure components as well as evaluating risk analyses and deriving suitable measures to minimize risks
- In addition, you will coordinate the technical coordination with internal departments, external service providers and responsible authorities and manage external partners in the context of operation, maintenance and technical projects
- In addition, you will support the creation and further development of emergency and restart concepts for technical building systems and play a technical role in audits, certifications and technical inspections
- You will independently identify potential for improvement in your work processes, actively work on optimizations and report any deficiencies or violations of occupational health and safety and environmental protection regulations to the responsible supervisors
Your qualifications

- You have a degree from a business or administration academy, a degree from a vocational academy or a Bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, safety technology or a comparable qualification
- You already have several years of professional experience of at least two to six years in a security technology environment
- You have very good knowledge of perimeter, intrusion, video, fire and emergency concepts
- You have in-depth knowledge of KRITIS/BSI basics, NIS2 and the KRITIS umbrella law
- You have already acquired further knowledge of verification, reporting and documentation obligations for operators of critical systems
- You have advanced knowledge of project management and the use of Microsoft 365
- You have strong analytical skills and develop complex issues in a structured and solution-oriented manner
- You are characterized by a high level of personal responsibility and a conscientious and reliable way of working
- With your customer and service-oriented attitude, you are a competent contact person for our internal and external stakeholders
- You have a good command of written and spoken German

- This position is remunerated at pay group 11 in accordance with the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). For a full-time position, this corresponds to a gross annual salary of around 68,000 – 89,000 euros (depending on professional experience and qualifications).
