Land Acquisition and Rights Management Specialist (m/f/d)

I ensure that land is available for energy transition projects by overseeing the purchase of land necessary for our operations and keeping track of the required right-of-way permits.
We are 50Hertz—one of the four transmission system operators (TSOs) in Germany. Together with the Belgian power grid operator Elia (Brussels), we form the internationally active Elia Group. At 50Hertz, more than 2,100 people work to ensure that electricity flows reliably, with minimal losses, and in an optimally controlled manner over long distances at all times. As a TSO, we play a central coordinating role—socially, technically, and economically—in bringing about the energy transition. Our goal: By 2032, we aim to integrate 100 percent renewable energy into the grid and system safely and affordably.
Innovative
We are driving the energy transition forward with forward-looking technologies and creative solutions. In doing so, we’re already thinking about the day after tomorrow and are ready to break new ground.
Diverse
People from different cultures and with diverse talents work together at our company to achieve great things. We always view diversity in every dimension as an opportunity.
Responsible
We are responsible for ensuring a reliable electricity supply and the sustainable expansion of the power grid. To master this task, it goes without saying that we also take responsibility for one another.
Collaborative
Our strong community and respectful collaboration ensure the success of our mission. That is why we actively foster the individual strengths and interests of our employees and support their personal development.
As one of four transmission system operators in Germany, 50Hertz is responsible for electricity transmission at the highest voltage level—the level on which everything depends when it comes to grid stability and security of supply in Germany and Europe. We are part of a European grid interconnection and cooperate directly with colleagues throughout Europe. Together with the Belgian grid operator Elia, 50Hertz forms a European company: the Elia Group. We work closely together on key issues. Individual departments, such as IT or procurement, are group-wide functions, meaning that Elia and 50Hertz colleagues work together in a joint team across offices located in Berlin and Brussels.
