Machinist (m/f/d) in the heating (power) plant

It supplies large parts of central Franconia and neighboring administrative districts with electricity and natural gas, as well as the city of Nuremberg with water and district heating. Your tasks
- You will be responsible for operating, controlling, monitoring and checking our heating (power) plants – either on site in the various heating (power) plants or from your control station in the power plant – in seasonal alternating shifts or shift work.
- You will recognize malfunctions and initiate countermeasures independently.
- You will also carry out maintenance and servicing work as well as periodic inspections at our sites in Nuremberg.
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed training as a plant mechanic, mechatronics technician or electronics technician and ideally have a further qualification as a TÜV boiler technician.
- Ideally, you will already be familiar with the relevant technical rules, regulations and laws, such as BImSchVO, BetrSichVO, have a basic understanding of technical operations management systems and have already gained experience with process control systems.
- You have a class B driver’s license and are willing to participate in on-call duty or seasonal shift work. Your place of residence should be within half an hour of the city of Nuremberg.
