Management for major projects in the field of renewable energies (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • Management and overall responsibility for the implementation of complex large-scale projects in the field of renewable energies – you take over the project after conception and drive the development through approval and realization to commissioning
  • Development and implementation of strategic plans for the further development of the business unit, including market analyses, potential assessments and technology roadmaps
  • Responsibility for planning, controlling and target achievement in all project phases – taking into account economic, technical and regulatory framework conditions
  • Ensuring environmental, quality and safety standards in accordance with internal guidelines and external requirements (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 45001, EMAS)
  • Establishing and maintaining networks in the field of geothermal energy and related renewable technologies (e.g. power-to-heat, storage solutions, heating networks)
  • Effective risk and opportunity management, identification of critical project factors and development of viable strategic solutions
  • Leading and managing interdisciplinary project teams as well as selecting and coordinating external partners, service providers and authorities

Your qualifications

  • Proven management experience in the management of complex large-scale projects in the infrastructure or energy sector – ideally with overall responsibility across all project phases
  • Completed university degree in engineering, energy technology, geosciences or a comparable technical discipline
  • Sound expertise in the management of technically demanding large-scale projects, ideally with a direct link to renewable energies – experience in geothermal energy or deep geothermal projects is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of construction and environmental law, approval procedures and the relevant standards and management systems (e.g. ISO 9001, ISO 45001, EMAS)
  • Experience in risk management, in the development of strategic solutions and in the application of management tools in project controlling
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills in interdisciplinary and dynamic project contexts – also under high political and public interest
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – especially in dealing with municipal representatives, authorities, investors and project partners
  • Confident manner towards political stakeholders and in public committees as well as the ability to strategically balance interests
  • Experience in using digital project management tools, ideally supplemented by knowledge of SAP (e.g. PS, CO) and common planning or BIM systems
  • High degree of initiative, goal orientation and innovative spirit – especially when standardizing complex projects, integrating new technologies and cooperation models
