What you can expect

• As part of the age-related succession plan, you will assume full responsibility for the overall success of Stadtwerke Eschwege GmbH.
• Your focus will be on the strategic orientation and management of Stadtwerke to strengthen its competitive position as an innovative and customer-oriented service company.
• As sole managing director, you will be responsible for the further development of existing structures and processes as well as for financial stability.
• As a role model for more than 140 employees from a wide range of disciplines, you will inspire them to implement the strategy and guide them successfully through the changes in the energy industry.
• You will organize and manage the municipal utility's investments - for example in wind and photovoltaic parks and other cooperative ventures. You will also be prepared to take on management activities in these or related areas.
• You will represent Stadtwerke in committees and associations of the energy industry as well as in the region in society, politics and business.
• You will work together with the Supervisory Board on a basis of trust.

What you bring with you

• You have successfully completed a university degree with a technical focus.
• You have several years of management and professional experience in the energy industry, preferably in technical areas with responsibility for results.
• You are very familiar with the processes and legal principles of the energy industry.
• You are characterized by an engaging manner, are authentic and have strong negotiation and presentation skills. You also make decisions confidently and decisively.
• In your work, you always seek a solution-oriented exchange with managers, employees, the works council and local decision-making bodies.
