Management (m/f/d) Wastewater Association
The wastewater association, consisting of seven municipalities, operates a joint, fully biological wastewater treatment plant in Steinen in the district of Lörrach. The association sewer covers approx. 33 km. The plant is designed for 75,000 population equivalents.
Your tasks
- The technical management and organization of the association’s wastewater treatment plant, including the association’s sewers and special structures such as rainwater overflow basins, measuring and pumping stations
- The development and technical and economic optimization of operating concepts for wastewater treatment, sludge treatment and disposal
- Partial planning and supervision of construction projects
- Maintenance and monitoring of the plant and all plant components
- Preparation of cost estimates for budget planning
- Reporting to the association committees
- Personnel deployment and management of a total of 14 employees
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed at least a master craftsman’s examination as a “certified wastewater master craftsman (m/f/d)” or a comparable qualification
- In-depth knowledge in the field of water or wastewater technology
- You have strong leadership and communication skills and work in a structured manner
- You have a high sense of responsibility, show commitment and enjoy working in a team
- You are enthusiastic about attending specialist further education and training courses in order to continue your professional development
- You have a class B or BE driving license
