Your tasks

As Manager Business Area Development Retail (m/f/d), your tasks will include continuously monitoring the energy market and the regulatory environment with regard to business models in the retail sector and independently deriving recommendations for action for new business areas You will be responsible for evaluating implications for existing business areas and processes, valuation models and/or trading strategies (e.g. options, flex. Contracts, (virtual) storage, long-term contracts, struct. Products, complex models) You are responsible for implementing the development and management of new specialist knowledge You will be responsible for the methodology and content of issues associated with the digitalization of energy trading and new business areas They combine their findings with other new and existing challenges, network, develop further and bring their knowledge into the organization through projects You are responsible for the organizational and technical implementation and execution of (mathematical) valuation models, in particular hedging and pricing algorithms as well as process and reporting requirements in the trading systems (especially ETRM) You continuously monitor existing business models and processes with regard to performance, automation, new requirements and optimization possibilities, especially with regard to digitalization

Your qualifications

Completed studies in economics or natural sciences or a comparable course of study Several years of functionally relevant professional experience in portfolio management in the energy sector Energy industry know-how, in particular knowledge of the energy market Strong knowledge of data preparation / aggregation / processing as well as experience in data / problem analysis The ability to think in a networked way and to quickly understand complex interrelationships Creativity, enthusiasm, persuasiveness and above-average motivation Ability to assess long-term risk and performance drivers Good communication skills and team spirit Fluent written and spoken German


You will receive an attractive employment contract with collectively agreed remuneration in accordance with TV-V as well as a Christmas bonus, performance bonuses and a company pension scheme.
