As the grid company of MVV, MVV Netze GmbH is responsible for the operation of its electricity, gas, district heating and water grids in Mannheim and the Rhine-Neckar metropolitan region with around 500 employees.
Your tasks
As Manager Strategy Plants and Grids (m/f/d) with a focus on Operational Asset Management, you will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the functionality of the supply grids and plants by developing and implementing basic planning maintenance, renewal and expansion strategies in the electricity division. You will be responsible for planning the development of assets over the short, medium and long-term planning horizon, taking into account the individual equipment groups and different maintenance strategies (cyclical, event-oriented, condition-based) You create a portfolio of measures based on the strategies developed and are responsible for the transfer to medium-term planning for maintenance expenses and investments as part of MVV Netze's strategy You will prepare monthly reports on the development of costs and deadlines for the portfolio of measures (preview) You are responsible for the application of existing and/or the independent development and/or further development of analysis procedures You will regularly exchange information with the Planning, Construction and Operations OU on strategic considerations and feedback on operational issues as well as on the implementation of the portfolio of measures in terms of quality, costs and deadlines You formulate requirements for the continuous further development of the relevant databases in the various information systems
Your qualifications
Completed Master's degree (electrical engineering, electrical power engineering or comparable) Many years of professional experience in the field of electrical grids, ideally in asset management Very good verbal and written communication skills Enjoy complex tasks as well as quick comprehension and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
