Manager:in Regulation and Energy Economics
Your tasks
- As a manager for regulation and energy economics, you monitor and analyze legislative changes and regulatory trends and translate these into concrete action requirements and strategic opportunities.
- With your expertise in the traditional commodity sales business (electricity, gas) and the integrated solutions business (PV, heat, storage, electromobility), you identify potential for innovation and new business models resulting from regulatory changes and provide impetus for business development.
- You are the central point of contact for all market areas and regulatory issues.
- You initiate and lead internal project teams for position development and act as a reliable interface to all relevant Group divisions. You will also advise on regulatory issues and their impact on the business and prepare reports and presentations on regulatory issues for management.
- Building relationships with political decision-makers and industry associations is another part of your job. Participating in industry events and working groups to help shape them rounds off your job profile.
Your qualifications
- You have a degree in law, economics, engineering or a related field, or alternatively a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience. Additional qualifications in the field of energy law or regulatory management would be an advantage for you.
- You have many years of experience in a comparable position in the energy sector.
- Furthermore, you have experience in analyzing complex regulatory issues and especially in implementing them in corporate strategies and integrating them into innovative business models.
- You are adept at networking and lobbying at political or industry-specific events.
- You also like to get to the bottom of things and have strong strategic thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a matter of course for you. You also have no problem communicating complex issues in an understandable way.
- Your personality is characterized by a proactive and solution-oriented way of working as well as a high level of self-motivation and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
