We treat raw water in three waterworks to produce the No. 1 foodstuff, drinking water, and control the distribution and collection of the treated drinking water via pipelines and pumping stations, tanks and water towers to our customers. We also sell table water systems and carbonated water in Wuppertal and the surrounding area and offer our expertise as a service covering all aspects of drinking water.
Your tasks
- You will be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of two working groups with a total of 10 employees.
- You will be responsible for maintaining the operation of the Dabringhausen waterworks, including the water treatment, water pumping and water distribution systems as well as the raw water pipes.
- You will plan and document the installation and maintenance of all process engineering systems and buildings.
- You will monitor quality and optimize the treatment process.
- You are responsible for the specialist training of water supply technology specialists.
- Your tasks include ensuring occupational safety.
Your qualifications
- You have completed master craftsman training (m/f/d), ideally as a water master craftsman (m/f/d) or have another relevant master craftsman qualification, such as industrial master craftsman in metal (m/f/d), master plumber and heating engineer (m/f/d), network master craftsman (m/f/d).
- Ideally, you have professional experience in the water sector and have initial specialist knowledge in the planning, construction, operation and maintenance of drinking water supply systems.
- You have initial specialist knowledge in the field of complex process engineering systems.
- You have knowledge of the regulations (DVGW) and the Drinking Water Ordinance.
- You are a team player with strong social skills and assertiveness.
- A high degree of independence and initiative round off your profile.
- Due to the on-call duty, a class B driving license is essential.
