Master / Technician Electrical Engineering / Power Engineering Strategic Network Planning Electricity (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • As our expert (m/f/d) for strategic network planning, you will plan and project our network expansion and renewal measures as part of a team. You will always keep an eye on our overarching asset strategy and handle all grid construction measures securely using SAP.
  • You develop the appropriate measures for our grid expansion and renewal measures in order to fully utilize the investment budget and then monitor the results.
  • You will carry out grid compatibility tests for the integration of feed-in and supply systems (e.g. photovoltaics, charging infrastructure, etc.).
  • You will be analytical, develop target grid concepts and use software tools for geoinformation and grid calculations.
  • You will represent EVNG at municipal supplier meetings within our supply area and coordinate all planned measures.
  • Sounds varied? It is. Because in addition to your day-to-day business, you will think outside the box, examine the use of innovative new tools that make your working life easier and contribute your ideas for standardization.

Your qualifications

  • You have successfully completed your electrical engineering training and have an additional qualification as a master craftsman or technician (m/f/d) specializing in electrical engineering / power engineering.
  • Based on your previous professional experience, you have initial knowledge of planning power grids. Ideally, you are already familiar with the relevant standards and application rules of the VDE / FNN. Otherwise, you will be willing to familiarize yourself with the topics.
  • It would be perfect if you also have an additional qualification in the field of gas supply and have already gained some knowledge of network calculation. If not, no problem. You are open to familiarizing yourself with the gas sector. Your colleagues (m/f/d) and appropriate seminars will support you.
  • You are confident in all common Office products and can quickly familiarize yourself with new, innovative tools.
  • As you write all your documentation in German and communicate with your colleagues (m/f/d), fluency in German is a must.
  • We are a team of 9 and would be delighted if the team spirit is as important to you as it is to us.

Benefits

  • Our attractive collective wage agreement regulates your financial development with us as well as the payment of 13 monthly salaries.
  • You will also receive a fully employer-financed company pension from us.
  • We offer flexible working hours and hybrid working within the framework of a 38-hour week.
  • Your 30 vacation days and an additional 13 compensatory days that you can earn provide the necessary compensation. We also give you Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve as days off.
  • A great team that also meets up outside of working hours, e.g. in our company sports club (soccer, tennis, cycling tours, etc.).
  • Your induction is a colorful bouquet of specialist external seminars and a structured induction by your superiors and colleagues.
  • Healthy, motivated employees are our most important success factor. That’s why we do a lot to ensure that you feel good at all times. With our company fitness offer via Wellpass, you have nationwide access to a wide range of wellness and fitness facilities at discounted rates.
  • You also benefit from attractive company agreements such as an e-bike allowance and numerous corporate benefits (e.g. gym, travel offers, shopping benefits).
  • Flat hierarchies, short decision-making processes and a friendly working atmosphere await you in a company that is working locally on the energy transition.
