Your tasks

Grid management with the aim of ensuring that the operating resources for the distribution grid in Dortmund and Schwerte are used as reliably, safely and cost-effectively as possible Following the issue of instructions, independently instructing and carrying out switching operations in 110/10 kV systems, in the distribution grid and in the 110 kV grid on instruction or in coordination with the upstream grid operator Assisting with the initial commissioning of new system components and stations Assessing and evaluating incoming fault reports to minimize damage and restore supply as quickly as possible Ensuring the flow of information to internal and external departments in the event of special incidents Cross-divisional fault management Special tasks, such as assisting in the preparation of operational management contracts, planned switching or fault documentation for the Federal Network Agency Employment is based on a rolling alternating shift model in early, late and night shifts with corresponding shifts off and flexible availability shifts


Your qualifications

With your completed further training as a master craftsman/technician (m/f/d) in electrical engineering or comparable qualification With your extensive knowledge of the electricity grid With your confident handling of the common MS Office programs, SAP and GIS With your convincing and confident appearance, your strong sense of responsibility and your high degree of independence and ability to work in a team With your good, quick comprehension skills and thoughtful, clear decision-making, even in stressful situations With your individual communication skills with customers and colleagues With your openness to new subject areas and challenges
