Mechanic / electrician / service technician (m/f/d) for control activities in the wind sector of UKB
UKB Betriebsführung GmbH manages wind turbines throughout Germany with a total output of currently around 1,000 megawatts. In the next four years, the total output managed by us will increase to 3,000 MW, and the number of substations managed by us will rise to 37. In addition, photovoltaic projects with an output of 1,000 MWp will enrich our operations management portfolio. We currently have 35 employees working for the energy transition at our sites in Meißen and Oldenburg. For our growth in the coming years, we need you to become part of UKB and thus also of the UKA Group.
UKA plans, builds, manages and operates wind and solar parks and the associated infrastructure. Founded in 1999, the company is one of the leading German developers with around 60 energy parks connected to the grid and an international project pipeline of four gigawatts. The UKA Group currently employs around 900 people in Germany, Europe and the USA.
Your tasks
- For inspection activities in the wind sector
- You take care of the inspection of wind turbines to record their condition and in the event of a fault
- You create defect lists and inspect rectified defects
- Your tasks also include accompanying expert reports
- You maintain the stations and carry out switching operations
- You will also maintain the infrastructure
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed a technical apprenticeship
- Knowledge of switchgear or medium-voltage technology is desirable
- Your strengths include working independently and analytically and being able to work at heights
- Due to the nature of the work, you should have a certain level of physical fitness
- You have a high level of comprehension and are willing to familiarize yourself independently and conscientiously with the assigned area of responsibility
- You are fluent in written and spoken German, knowledge of English is an advantage
