Meteorologist (m/f/d) for Quality Assurance in Wind and Solar Power Forecasts

• Wind and Solar Power Forecasts
• You will provide expert meteorological support to our clients in the energy sector.
• In doing so, you’ll ensure the highest possible quality of our power forecasts.
• Using your expertise, you’ll further develop our forecasting system in terms of both content and methodology.
• You’ll work closely with our teams in research, software development, and key accounting.

• Ideally, you have a degree in meteorology, earth sciences, physics, or another related natural science.
• It’s important that you have an interest in synoptic meteorology and identifying synoptic relationships—you also enjoy exploring complex processes and critically examining them.
• You can demonstrate your analytical skills, for example, through statistical data analysis.
• You’re comfortable with customer contact and transparent communication—and you also have strong language skills in German and English.
• You’re willing to work occasionally on weekends and get up early from time to time—during time-sensitive periods, we can also count on your dedicated commitment.
• You enjoy working both as part of a team and independently—and you stand out for your structured and goal-oriented approach.
• We welcome additional knowledge of renewable energy, energy markets, the power grid, or numerical weather prediction.
