As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. We are responsible for the operation, planning, maintenance and expansion of the local and regional electricity, natural gas and drinking water distribution networks as well as the operation of metering points. Your tasks
- You carry out the installation, removal and replacement of electricity meters in accordance with calibration regulations
- You install additional equipment for measuring systems
- Your tasks will include carrying out fault analyses and rectifying faults in the metering equipment
- Testing and checking the metering systems for compliance with the currently valid guidelines (TAB, VDE) is also part of your area of responsibility
- You will install intelligent measuring equipment and measuring equipment for energy generation systems
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed training as an electronics technician, energy electronics technician, electrician or a comparable qualification
- Ideally, you already have good knowledge of measurement technology / metering technology and relevant regulations (e.g. TAB, VDE)
- An independent and conscientious way of working and a customer-friendly demeanor are a matter of course for you
- You are in possession of a valid class B driving license
- Very good German language skills and a confident handling of the common MS Office applications round off your profile
- Desirable:
- Additional training for live working on systems up to 1000V
