Your tasks
The energy, transport and heating transition as well as digitalization require considerable investment in the electricity grid infrastructure. Grid expansion is leading to an extraordinary ramp-up of major projects across the city - with complex commercial and contractual framework conditions. Working in tandem with the project management team, you will assume responsibility for the future-proof expansion of Frankfurt's electricity grid as a multi-project manager for major projects. You will be responsible for the commercial management of major projects in the electricity grid - in particular for project-specific requirements and contract management, coordination, content design and the implementation of contractual project issues You will be responsible for, manage and continuously monitor budget, cost and deadline compliance for the projects for which you are responsible. As a multi-project manager, you are responsible for commercial risk management and ensure proactive claim management at all times Regular budget reporting is a matter of course for you, as is the ongoing management of cost, investment and cash outflow planning for projects You regularly report in tandem with the project management on commercial and contractual matters relating to major projects to the relevant committees and stakeholders and bring about the necessary decisions In coordination with project management, you will draw up the project-specific requirements and specifications for purchasing in the tendering and awarding process You will work on special tasks and strategic projects with a focus on process excellence and organizational development in coordination with the department management
Your qualifications
Completed Master's degree in industrial engineering, economics, business administration, economics, electrical engineering or civil engineering Relevant, functionally relevant professional experience and sound knowledge of the energy industry Knowledge of project management and the commercial management of projects Entrepreneurial thinking and acting High service and service orientation Flexibility with regard to changing tasks
