Network Engineer (m/f/d) – Specializing in Cable Measurement Technology
Your Responsibilities

- Compliance with currently applicable laws, regulations, technical rules, and DIN VDE or DIN EN standards
- Locating faults in medium-voltage, low-voltage, and street lighting cables
- Testing the electrical properties of medium-voltage cables during initial commissioning and recommissioning of medium-voltage cable runs
- Testing the electrical properties of low-voltage cables
- Conducting partial discharge measurements on medium-voltage cables
- Performing necessary medium-voltage and low-voltage switching operations
- Conducting network analyses, including their evaluation and documentation in accordance with DIN EN 50160—Characteristics of Voltage in Public Electricity Supply Networks
- Conducting voltage and current measurements in the medium-voltage and low-voltage networks, including their evaluation and documentation
- Coordination and documentation of access plans for medium-voltage customer substations
- Participation in on-call duty as IvD or MvD
- Independently managing the cable measurement vehicle and the measuring instruments along with the associated equipment
Your Qualifications
- You have successfully completed a technical or master’s degree in electrical engineering and have relevant experience.
- You have at least three years of practical experience in the field of energy supply.
- Your communication with customers is characterized by an articulate and confident demeanor.
- You communicate confidently over the phone.
- You are a team player and possess strong assertiveness.
- You are proficient in using MS Office and SAP/R3.
- A Class C1 driver’s license (up to 7.5 metric tons) is preferred
Benefits
You will receive performance-based and market-oriented compensation in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement for public utilities (TV-V).
