As a distribution grid operator in the regions of Heinsberg, Mönchengladbach, Viersen and parts of the Rhine district of Neuss, NEW Netz GmbH plays a key role in making the energy transition a success. • You will carry out installation, dismantling and commissioning work on our transportation and distribution networks and equipment in the gas, water and heating sectors
• You will carry out demanding maintenance and repair work as well as related tasks, taking into account customer-specific requirements, compliance with DVGW regulations and the requirements of the employers’ liability insurance association
• Independently identifying, analysing and eliminating faults is just as much a part of your job as carrying out network services (e.g. in connection with digitalization)
• You will be responsible for documenting and providing feedback on measures carried out in the relevant IT applications
• You will ensure compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations and set an example in this regard
• You will take part in the regular on-call duty after successful induction

• You have successfully completed a supply engineering apprenticeship as a plant mechanic, pipe network engineer or gas and water fitter or comparable training
• Ideally, you have specialist knowledge in the operation and maintenance of gas, water and heating networks
• You are in possession of a valid class B driving license
• Your place of residence is in or adjacent to the supply area
• You are aware of potential hazards in your day-to-day work and actively look out for yourself and others
• Your way of working is characterized by structured, forward-looking action and creative drive: You are proactive, hands-on and reliable
• Even in the face of effort or resistance, you implement things consistently and show a willingness to develop yourself further
