Network manager for the operation of the district heating and cooling network (m/f/d)

Your tasks

  • You are responsible for the compliant operation of the district heating and cooling network. In addition to the pipe network, this also includes the heat and cold feeds in our generation and the transfer stations at the customers. You will be supported in your tasks by other colleagues at the HKW
  • To ensure uninterrupted energy generation, you will monitor our infrastructure, organize maintenance and repair and take care of troubleshooting and damage repair
  • You will provide support for extensions, new builds and conversions in the network, carry out the necessary shut-offs during the conversion, involve the affected customers and monitor the activities until the work has been accepted
  • You organize the regular inspection of calibrated heat and cooling meters in accordance with the calibration law and carry out minor work yourself
  • You monitor the energy consumption of the customer systems and keep the documentation up to date

Your qualifications

  • You have completed technical vocational training with a master craftsman’s degree and have experience in supply engineering
  • You are flexible, sociable, a team player and show a high level of commitment
  • You are prepared to work on-call duty. This will be remunerated
  • You have a class B driving license
