You will be responsible for the implementation of balancing group management, take on the market role of the balancing group manager(s) as part of the market communication processes and are therefore the main point of contact for balancing coordinators (electricity) and market area managers (gas). You are the first point of contact for balancing coordinators, transmission system operators and market area managers and determine the energy quantities relevant for balancing as well as balancing group deviations as the basis for the clearing process in the back office. You will perform the daily tasks in accordance with MaBiS and KoV from a regulatory and economic point of view and carry out clearing in accordance with MaBiS and KoV in the role of the balancing group manager(s) and in the role of the supplier. You will prepare cost analyses and profitability calculations as part of target/actual comparisons, in accordance with MaBiS / KoV or at balancing group level. You will manage and control external service providers.
Completed studies in energy informatics, energy economics, business informatics or industrial engineering or comparable training Extensive experience in balancing group management and relevant knowledge of the energy industry High affinity for information technology systems and applications, e.g. energy data and portfolio management system; ideally supplemented by knowledge of SAP IS-U, Kister-Belvis, IRM Committed and motivated, reliable, a high sense of responsibility and initiative, supplemented by analytical and conceptual thinking Business fluent in written and spoken German
