Electromobility is a key area of activity for the energy industry. BDEW represents nearly all of Germany's major charging station operators and e-mobility service providers, as well as numerous start-ups. It supports its member companies with comprehensive expertise, opinion-forming and representation of interests, and thus plays a key role in this dynamic field for the success of the transport revolution
With your expertise, you will help our member companies to expand their charging services, contribute to public opinion-forming with studies and analyses, and advise policymakers on the design of the framework conditions.

Your tasks

  • Focus of the activity is the independent work on topics related to electromobility and charging infrastructure
  • Support of BDEW activities and management of projects in the field of mobility as well as moderation and conception of events and workshops
  • Support of and cooperation in internal committees of the association as well as representation of the association and cooperation in external committees
  • Development of technical positions, strategy papers and industry positions
  • Preparation and publication of professional­topics as well as the coordination of studies

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed university­studies (diploma/master), preferably with focus on engineering, economics or social sciences; incl. professional­experience in the energy­economy or transport­sector is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of the energy­economy­s interrelationships and legislation and/or electro­mobilit­t
  • A strategic thinker, enjoys complex issues and data­analysis, and has strong problem­solving­skills
  • Experience in project management and facilitation
  • Convincing, empathetic personality with a confident manner, negotiation and argumentation skills and very good written expression skills as well as the ability to present technical topics in a concise and understandable way for different target groups
  • Very good English skills, both written and spoken, and very good knowledge of common Office programs
