Operating Engineer (m/f/d) Energy Supply
Your tasks
- Independent and autonomous planning, monitoring, acceptance and billing of complex, cross-divisional measures for electricity, gas, water and district heating supply
- Support and representation of the department management
- Tracking the degree of completion of maintenance tasks
- Detailed planning of plant projects in the electricity, gas, water and district heating sectors Preparation of service descriptions and specifications
- Project-related calculations and cost calculations
- Obtaining information offers
- Participation in the awarding of contracts and technical evaluation of offers
- Project schedule planning
- Coordination with the relevant departments, offices and authorities
- Coordination with external companies and contractors and optimal use of available resources
- Monitoring construction measures with regard to technical execution, occupational safety, environmental protection and quality assurance
- Compliance with and tracking of the existing maintenance and investment budget
- Documentation and project controlling
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty if required
- Participation in committees, projects and cross-company exchange forums
- Support for certification systems and their operational implementation
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree as an engineer (m/f/d) in the field of electrical engineering, supply engineering or as an industrial engineer
- (m/f/d) or an equivalent field of study relevant to the position
- Initial experience in the field of project control and project management
- Initial experience in the energy and utilities industry
- Knowledge in the areas of creating service specifications, project costing and project accounting
- Knowledge of the implementation of construction measures in plant construction
- Knowledge of the relevant laws, regulations, standards and technical rules
- Experience in dealing with management systems is an advantage
- Possession of a class B driving license

Stadtwerke Saarbrücken Netz AG is a local network operator for electricity, natural gas, district heating and water. The company also supplies the state capital of Saarbrücken with top-quality drinking water from its own waterworks via its drinking water network.
The Stadtwerke subsidiary Wasserwerk Bliestal GmbH also supplies city and municipal districts in the Saarpfalz district with drinking water from the 120 square kilometer Bliestal water protection area.
The Stadtwerke Group currently employs around 1,100 people. The company is based in Saarbrücken.
