Operations Manager / HSE Manager (m/f/d)
As a subsidiary of Shell, bp and Esso, Rhein-Main-Rohrleitungstransportgesellschaft (RMR) operates a pipeline system and stands for the environmentally friendly transportation of products. Over a distance of more than 500 km, the transport is carried out with CO₂-neutral energy consumption and without burdening public transport routes to major customers. With our service, we make a significant contribution to security of supply in Germany.
Your tasks
- Operations manager in accordance with TRFL
- Responsibility for the safety, availability and cost-effectiveness of the entire pipeline system as part of the 5-person RMR management team
- Close and trusting cooperation with the authorities of the federal states and municipalities, the technical inspection bodies and local emergency and crisis services
- Technical and disciplinary management of a dedicated team of 16 employees in operational shifts, production program planning and quality assurance
- Preparation of short and medium-term cost and investment planning in the area of responsibility as well as initiation and management of innovative, cross-departmental projects
- Ensuring compliance, governance and assurance as well as organizing internal and external audits; managing risk management and alarm and hazard prevention planning.
- Responsibility for quality management processes, the Integrated Management System (IMS) and energy management in accordance with ISO 50001
- Support and further digitalization of HSE processes
Your qualifications
- Completed engineering degree (mechanical engineering, process engineering or similar)
- Comprehensive knowledge of pipeline and/or tank farm operation, pipeline construction, pump and valve technology as well as in the areas of occupational safety and plant safety
- Many years of professional experience with refinery and petrochemical plants or in a comparable work environment are an advantage
- High affinity for digitalization and IT, good written and spoken English skills
- Strong communication skills, results orientation and entrepreneurial thinking
