Here’s what we’re looking for...
Technical degree or vocational training:
- You have a degree in engineering, energy technology, utility engineering, or a comparable qualification.
- Or you have technical training as a mechatronics technician, a plant mechanic specializing in plumbing, heating, and air conditioning, or a comparable technical qualification, supplemented by a degree as a technician or master craftsman.
Leadership Skills:
- You see yourself as a partner in collaboration and communication with customers, technicians, and service providers.
- You value respectful communication on an equal footing, focused on achieving shared goals.
- Practical experience in leading teams or employees is a plus.
Professional Experience / Expertise:
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in the energy sector or a related field, as well as comprehensive knowledge of heat and electricity supply.
- You have solid business experience to efficiently manage and optimize business processes.
Digital Skills:
- You are proficient, confident, and flexible in using Microsoft Office products.
Language and Other Skills:
- You have native-level proficiency in German.
- A valid Class B driver’s license is also required.

Technical and Business Management:
- You will be responsible for the technical and operational management of the heat supply systems, including the associated generation facilities (such as combined heat and power plants, biomass boilers, heat pumps, and oil and gas boilers), district heating networks, and building substations in close collaboration with the responsible service provider.
Work Environment, Collaboration, and Leadership:
- You’ll be part of a dynamic, dedicated, and competent team of assistants and technicians.
- Together, you foster a respectful working environment and ensure professional, trusting collaboration.
- In your role, you will work cooperatively, goal-oriented, and on an equal footing with customers, technicians, as well as internal and external contacts and service providers to ensure optimal maintenance of the systems.
- In doing so, you’ll maintain close, ongoing communication with department management and the maintenance team.
Service, Maintenance, and Occupational Safety:
- You proactively tackle technical challenges, independently conduct fault analyses, and efficiently resolve malfunctions.
- You will develop and maintain service and maintenance plans for our systems.
- You monitor compliance with operating standards required by permits and relevant occupational safety measures.
Raw Material Supply and Process Optimization:
- You ensure and monitor an optimal supply of raw materials in collaboration with our raw materials management team.
- You ensure that, by drawing on the expertise of technicians as well as customers and partners, you can effectively optimize process flows and make a well-founded assessment of the technical condition of the facilities.
