Your tasks
You are responsible for the safe operation of your assigned grid areas in a rotating shift system and are the first point of contact for our colleagues on site in the event of a crisis You will monitor and control the medium and high-voltage grids in Frankfurt with the help of one of the most modern control systems. You will recognize and evaluate critical grid and system situations and initiate the necessary measures You coordinate switching operations for scheduled work and faults in the grid, carry them out remotely and independently or instruct them by telephone You work in a strong team with the common goal of secure grid operation and further develop digital solutions for this purpose You will coordinate with upstream and downstream network operators as well as control and operations centers (fire department, police and other service providers) You will be involved in the preparation of daily reports and various statistics and work on the quality management of network management
Your qualifications
You have a qualification as a master electrician or similar with relevant professional experience You have knowledge of process control systems You enjoy working independently and on your own responsibility You demonstrate a high degree of reliability You have very good planning and prioritization skills You have a structured way of working and think and act analytically
