Did you know that TenneT Germany operates more than 25,000 kilometers of power lines, reliably supplying millions of people in Germany with energy – from the North Sea coast to the Alps?
TenneT is a leading European grid operator. We are committed to a secure and reliable power supply – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. As the first cross-border transmission system operator, we plan, build and operate a high-voltage and extra-high-voltage grid with a length of over 25,000 kilometers in the Netherlands and large parts of Germany and, with our 17 interconnectors, enable access to neighboring countries. With a turnover of 9.2 billion euros and total assets of 45 billion euros, we are one of the largest investors in national and international electricity grids, on land and at sea. Every day, our 8,300 employees give their best and ensure that more than 43 million end consumers can rely on a stable supply of electricity in line with our values of responsibility, courage and networking.
