Photovoltaic Project Developer (m/f/d)

We at WES Green are the open-space solar power specialists for landowners, municipalities, investors, cooperatives, and companies. Play an active role in shaping the energy transition and join our project development team as:

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent management of the entire project development process, particularly planning and permitting procedures
  • Commissioning and coordinating all service providers and partners involved
  • Analysis and evaluation of project sites from legal, conservation, and agricultural perspectives
  • Preparation and commissioning of planning documents, as well as preparation for and support during the permitting process
  • Collaboration with government agencies, project partners, and private landowners
  • Support with land acquisition and contract negotiations

Your Qualifications

  • A college degree or professional experience in the field of renewable energy, urban/regional planning, geography, project management, or a related field
  • Enthusiasm for renewable energy and an interest in diverse, cross-functional tasks ranging from business development to planning and implementation
  • Experience in project development is desirable
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications; ideally, you have GIS skills
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to take initiative
  • A reliable and structured approach to work, the ability to work well in a team, and a strong commitment
