Stuttgart Netze ensures that people in Stuttgart have a reliable supply of electricity and gas around the clock. As a distribution grid operator, we are responsible for the operation, maintenance and modernization of the 5,600-kilometre-long electricity grid and the 2,100-kilometre-long gas grid in the state capital. In addition to ensuring security of supply, we are investing in the further development of the grids in order to meet the increasing demands of the energy transition and create a sustainable energy infrastructure in Stuttgart. We also look after 74,000 street lights for the city of Stuttgart. As a subsidiary of Stadtwerke Stuttgart, we support the state capital of Stuttgart on its path to climate neutrality by 2035 with around 600 employees.
In the “Network Operation” division, our experts ensure that Stuttgart’s gas network is constantly maintained, checked and faults are rectified. In future, we will also operate the high-pressure gas network in Stuttgart.

• Varied tasks await you
• You will actively work to ensure the security of supply in the Stuttgart region
• Your main tasks will include checking gas pipes for leaks, locating them precisely and carrying out follow-up inspections
• You will also be responsible for the inspection, maintenance and repair of the high, medium and low-pressure network
• You will accept customer orders independently and process them reliably
• Participation in the on-call service is also part of your job

• You have completed training as a plant mechanic, gas fitter (f/m/d) or have a comparable qualification
• Qualification according to DVGW G 468-2 as a gas detector (f/m/d) is an advantage, but not a requirement
• Further training opportunities motivate you to continuously develop yourself further
• You are characterized by a sense of responsibility, initiative and the ability to represent your positions clearly
• The ability to work in a team and reliability are a matter of course for you, and a class B driving license is available
