Your responsibilities:
- Independent planning and project design of building connections for drinking water, district heating, gas, and electricity
- Independent planning and project design of construction projects in accordance with service phases 1 through 7 of the HOAI
- Conducting cost estimates and cost calculations
- Participation in the preliminary planning phase, as well as the compilation and evaluation of relevant planning documents
- Conducting site inspections and participating in coordination meetings to determine route alignments and technical implementation options
- Preparation of planning documents, technical concepts, and detailed plans as the basis for drafting
- Preparing schedules, construction sequence plans, and assisting in the development of traffic and road closure plans
- Preparation and drafting of bid documents in accordance with VOB
- Independently conducting and documenting procurement procedures in accordance with VOB
- Review and technical evaluation of change orders
- Providing technical support for construction coordination during the execution phase
- Regularly updating the responsible manager on the current status of ongoing planning, as well as on any deviations from plan specifications, particularly regarding the budget and schedule
Your Profile:
- A successfully completed degree in utility engineering, civil engineering, or a comparable qualification
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering and pipeline construction, as well as cable installation in the areas of drinking water, district heating, gas, and electricity
- Proficiency in software used for tendering, contracting, and billing for construction projects (e.g., California)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Basic knowledge of CAD (BricsCAD) and network calculation software (STANET)
- Knowledge and experience in the planning and execution of construction projects in utility networks
- Knowledge and experience in construction law as well as contract and public procurement law (VOB, HOAI)
- Interdisciplinary thinking and approach, particularly with a strong business acumen
- Written and spoken German skills are mandatory
- A Class B driver’s license is required
