Your tasks
As an operations engineer or future operations manager (f/m/d) with responsibility for gas, water & electricity, you will report directly to the current operations manager or later directly to the management. The aim is to further develop the role of Stadtwerke Merzig GmbH and Netzwerke Merzig GmbH as a regional and sustainable company in an industry undergoing radical change in a customer-oriented manner and thus make a significant contribution to its success. With technical and disciplinary responsibility, you will work with a team of technical specialists and fitters to ensure the efficient, reliable and climate-friendly operation of the networks and systems. You will continuously optimize the operating and process sequences and ensure meaningful documentation in accordance with the requirements of QM and TSM certification. You will develop up-to-date technical concepts in line with current and future requirements and stringently monitor their implementation in compliance with legal regulations, standards and specified budgets. You will provide important impetus for the further development of both companies with a technical perspective and a view to customer requirements, taking into account economic efficiency, feasibility and resource requirements. You will work together and engage in dialog with managers, employees and service providers in a constructive and trusting manner.
Your qualifications
Your professional background can come from a degree in engineering in the fields of supply engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field of study. As a project engineer/operating engineer (f/m/d), you have ideally already gained experience in the energy sector - preferably in a municipal environment at municipal or public utilities. Ideally, as a technical manager, you already have the DVGW G 1000 and W 1000 qualifications or are willing to obtain these with the support of the company. With your solution-oriented communication and leadership style as well as your commitment, you will continuously develop your department and the team and involve employees appropriately in decision-making processes.
