The Energy Data and Portfolio Management department in our subsidiary EWS Vertriebs GmbH consists of the Energy Data Management team and several specialists in the field of portfolio management. The focus is on the procurement of electricity and gas as well as the strategic management and optimization of our energy portfolios. We are looking for experienced specialists with the expertise and creative power to further develop our portfolio and procurement management.
Join our team as an Energy Portfolio Manager (m/f/d) on a full-time or part-time basis (at least 75%) at our locations in Schönau or Freiburg.

• Energy data and portfolio management
• You will be responsible for managing our service providers for balancing group and short-term management and their strategic development
• You analyze the dynamics of the short-term markets and actively manage their influence on our product pricing, in particular with regard to surplus/shortfall and balancing energy costs
• You will be involved in the daily forward market procurement of electricity and gas and play a key role in shaping the further development of our procurement strategies
• You will ensure that data obtained from operational processes is available in a structured and reliable manner as a basis for decision-making and management
• In close, interdisciplinary cooperation, you will develop solutions for our electricity and gas customer segments and maintain contact with external partners and service providers

• You have several years of professional experience in portfolio management or energy procurement, ideally in the field of green energy management – Experience in spot and intraday trading is desirable
• You have in-depth knowledge of the energy markets, particularly in the area of short-term trading markets and balancing energy mechanisms – Knowledge of balancing markets and flexibilities would be a further plus
• Analytical strength, a structured way of working, entrepreneurial thinking and a high degree of initiative round off your profile
• You have experience in working with complex data and preparing it for management decisions
• You enjoy interdisciplinary collaboration and actively shaping future processes
• You are a strong communicator and highly team-oriented
