Your tasks
- Development of cross-market optimization strategies
- Conception of models for optimizing the use of battery storage systems
- Support for operational marketing via Q.nect
- Ensuring implementation in line with market processes
- Coordination with trading for operational strategy implementation
- Support for nomination and communication processes
- Providing impetus for improvement and innovation
- Monitoring regulatory and technological market trends
Your qualifications
- Degree in energy economics, industrial engineering, mathematics, computer science or similar
- First professional experience in energy markets, ideally balancing power or battery storage
- Strong affinity for numbers and analytical thinking skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to work in a team, independent working style
- Business fluent in German
- Knowledge of optimization methods (MILP, stochastic models, heuristics)
- Experience in electricity markets (day-ahead, intraday, balancing energy) and energy industry processes
- Technical understanding of battery storage and flexible consumers
- Programming skills in Python and SQL
