Power plant foreman
At our Moosburg site, around 340 employees combine traditional know-how with innovative technology. Our core competence lies in the high-quality refinement of the natural clay mineral bentonite, which we extract from surrounding mines through our in-house mining operations. In our Purification & KA and Alkaline Activation & Specialties production plants, we process bentonite into high-quality products such as foundry additives and bleaching earth. In addition, we produce high-quality co-stabilizers and acid scavengers for the PVC industry in the Hydrotalcite production area.

Your tasks
- Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the power plant (steam, water, compressed air)
- Shift and on-call duty as shift electrician, elevator attendant and boiler attendant
- First point of contact in the event of faults and incidents and coordination of fault rectification
- Operation, maintenance and improvement of power plant facilities
- Fulfillment of duties for operational hazard prevention (tours, documentation) and ability to clear confined spaces
- Compliance with occupational safety and environmental regulations as well as official requirements (WHG, pressure equipment, gas)
Your qualifications
- Completed training as an electrical engineer for industrial engineering or higher qualification such as master electrician
- Additional training as a power plant foreman or comparable qualification desirable
- At least 5 years in the industry
- Willingness to work shifts and on-call duty as well as weekends and public holidays
- IT and SAP skills
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills in a complex working environment
- Willingness to work in operational emergency response and comprehensive knowledge of the entire plant
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of flexibility and responsibility
