Power Plant Operator / Boiler Operator (m/f/d) – specializing in electrics
Your tasks
- We are looking for a dedicated Power Plant Operator / Boiler Operator (m/f/d) with strong electrical expertise to join our energy supply team. As a power plant technician with a focus on electrics, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of our energy supply systems at the Grenzach-Wyhlen site. Your expertise and technical skills in the field of electrics will help to ensure that our systems run smoothly and that the energy supply is guaranteed. This permanent 5-shift position is available immediately or by arrangement.
- Operation and support of the systems according to operational requirements (e.g. gas turbine, steam turbines with generators, switchgear and electric motors)
- Carrying out minor electrical repairs and assisting with maintenance work in the electrical area
- Keeping quality-relevant logs
- Taking samples in accordance with operational, internal and official specifications
- Collaboration in the optimization of work processes
- Monitoring/operating the media supply for cooling, compressed air, factory water, nitrogen, hydrogen via DCS
Your qualifications
- Completed training as an electronics technician, electrician, industrial electrician, industrial electrician, mechatronics technician or comparable electrical engineering profession with several years of professional experience
- Experience in the operation of energy systems in the electrical sector is advantageous
- Completed further training as a boiler attendant (advantageous)
- Willingness to work shifts
- Good written and spoken German
