Power Plant Operator / Metalworker

As Austria’s leading energy company, we rely on the power of water, wind, and sun more than almost any other company in Europe. In doing so, we are banking on green hydrogen as a technology of the future.
VERBUND Border Power Plants operate eight power plants on the Bavarian-Austrian border and are a key component of VERBUND’s hydropower division. VERBUND Hydropower produces green energy from pumped-storage, storage, and run-of-river power plants and covers 40% of Austria’s electricity demand. In Bavaria, we supply energy to over 2 million households and businesses.
Join our team in the Power Plant Engineering department. The Border Power Plants Group employs 140 people who work on sustainable hydropower generation in the border region between Austria and Germany. To ensure this, we manage and maintain 8 power plants along the Inn and Danube rivers.
