Power plant operator / plant attendant (m/f/d) in alternating shifts
Your tasks
- The digital view into the CHP plant is via our control room. From a modern screen system, you mainly manage and monitor the processes and systems independently, e.g:
- The gas turbines with the waste heat boilers,
- The steam turbines
- The hot water boilers and systems for district heat extraction
- Or water treatment (demineralization plants, cooling tower make-up water treatment)
- You will occasionally carry out maintenance and cleaning work. To do this, you will take turns within the team so that you can also get hands-on.
- Process engineering preparation for the maintenance department is also one of your tasks. This means activating and handing over the systems and sometimes being available to answer technical questions.
- You carry out laboratory analyses and measure the water quality. Is the conductivity right, are the pH values correct?
- You ensure that the emission limits are adhered to and carry out visual inspections.
- You are responsible for plant operation: The timetable tells you every 15 minutes what output is to be generated in the plants.
- You work in alternating shifts. This means: a constant duty roster, time off and a bonus.
Your qualifications
- With your technical training (e.g. fitter, electrician, chemical technician (m/f/d)), you have initial knowledge and, thanks to your professional experience, you are used to keeping a cool head even when something unforeseen happens.
- As a trained boiler attendant, plant attendant and/or power plant operator (m/f/d), you are very familiar with the plants. Don’t have any qualifications? Don’t worry, we will finance the necessary further training, which you can concentrate on full-time.
- You have already worked with power plant control systems and are familiar with MS Office programs.
- Your ability to grasp things quickly is the basis for an independent, structured way of working with an overview and vision.
- You will work a shift together in a team of 8 people. You are a team player and have a cooperative working style.
