Production engineer (f/m/d)
Your tasks
- You will be responsible for planning the necessary maintenance measures, taking all specifications into account, and ensure the continuous operation of the technical systems
- You monitor compliance with all regulations when operating the systems and arrange for functional and wear tests to clarify cases of damage and causes of malfunctions
- You will prepare analyses, statistics and documentation as well as statements for operational management and risk assessments
- You will support the power plant manager in ensuring operational and organizational safety and provide technical guidance and support in training shift personnel
Your qualifications
- You have successfully completed a university or university of applied sciences degree in the field of energy or power plant engineering
- You have extensive knowledge and many years of operational experience in the management of power and heat generation plants
- You have knowledge of the technical and legal aspects of occupational health and safety
- You have impressive knowledge of labor and energy law as well as operational safety regulations and pressure vessel guidelines
- You ideally have further training as a boiler attendant (m/f/d)
- You live in the vicinity of the biomass power plant in Bischofferode (Thuringia)
- You are a team player, solution-oriented and want to help shape Leipzig’s energy transition
