Professional (m/f/d) European interconnected grids and international cooperation in the field of electricity
Dena’s mission is to contribute to the success of the energy transition. As a competence center for applied energy transition and climate protection, it supports the German government in achieving its energy and climate policy goals. To this end, it brings together partners from politics, business, science and all parts of society. Nationally and internationally, dena develops solutions for climate neutrality and puts them into practice.
Your tasks
- As part of the Electricity division in the Future of Energy Supply department, you will make a direct contribution to the success of the energy transition. We are working on many exciting projects relating to the integration of renewable energies into the electricity infrastructure. You will be working directly on the decarbonization of the German energy system and ensuring that Germany becomes climate-neutral by 2045.
- Conception, preparation and implementation of stakeholder processes and specialist events for national and international players from politics, business, science and civil society
- Creation and evaluation of energy policy strategies and measures
- Writing qualitative and quantitative studies, analyses, background papers and briefings
- Preparing and giving presentations and speeches as well as participating in specialist exchanges, including in an international context
- Preparing specialist content for communication formats for different target groups
- The position is part-time and full-time and is initially limited to two years with the option of permanent employment.
Your qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in economics, law, engineering, politics, social sciences or a comparable course of study
- Sound knowledge of the key challenges of the energy transition and knowledge of the political stakeholder landscape
- Good understanding of political, economic and technical contexts in the field of electricity grids and energy infrastructure
- Ideally knowledge in the regulatory fields of infrastructure planning or integration of renewable energies into the grid
- Organizational and communication skills and enjoy working in a team
- High level of commitment and professionalism in dealing with national and international representatives of companies and public institutions
- Affinity for technical content and enjoy writing texts
- Very good knowledge of German and English and a good feel for the language
- Desire to actively participate in the implementation of the energy transition and to work closely with the federal ministries, in particular the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection, to this end.
