Project and Data Manager (m/f/d) Energy and Climate Protection

Your tasks
- In the Sustainability and Energy team, you will support the development and establishment of a climate protection management system. In this context, you will be responsible for the creation of a climate protection concept, data collection and the management of GHG balancing Scope 1-3 at Freiburger Verkehrs AG
- Developing and implementing measures to expand the use of renewable energies, including the design and evaluation of PPA contracts
- You will set up strategic monitoring of climate protection and energy indicators in a central data platform, evaluate the results and support the internal interfaces in achieving the targets
- You advise and support the divisions in the development of climate protection measures and are the central point of contact for climate protection and energy data
- You actively shape processes, strategies and measures to reduce emissions and resource efficiency in the relevant areas (including new construction and infrastructure)
- You support the acquisition and processing of funding in the area of climate protection and energy
- You will work in relevant working groups, networks and associations and keep an eye on developments in the climate protection and energy sector
Your qualifications
- Completed studies – preferably in the fields of natural sciences, business administration or technology or comparable qualification
- Industry-relevant professional experience in data management and data analysis
- Experience in project coordination in the areas of climate protection, sustainability or energy
- Experience as an energy management officer (f/m/d) in accordance with DIN EN ISO 50001 is a plus
- Sound knowledge and practical experience in the qualified expansion of the use of renewable energies is an advantage
- Convincing verbal and written communication skills
- Confident handling of MS Office applications, explicitly Excel and other data acquisition software
- You are a strong communicator and enjoy building and maintaining networks
- Reliability as well as an independent and autonomous way of working
